Set up the keyboard
- Open Settings → Cueboard → Keyboards (or Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Cueboard).
- Turn on Cueboard.
- Turn on Allow Full Access. Cueboard needs it to reach the AI model and to share settings with the app; see the Privacy Policy.
- In any app, tap a text field, then hold the globe key and pick Cueboard.
Fixes for common problems
Cueboard isn't in the keyboard list
Check that Cueboard is turned on in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards. If it's there but doesn't appear, restart your iPhone once; iOS sometimes needs that after a keyboard is added.
It says “Allow Full Access to optimize”
Go to Settings → Cueboard → Keyboards and turn on Allow Full Access. Removing and re-adding the keyboard turns it off again.
Some apps show the system keyboard instead
iOS doesn't allow third-party keyboards in password fields, phone-number pads and some secure fields. Cueboard also doesn't write automatically in email-address, web-address or one-time-code fields; tap Optimize if you want it there.
It can't connect
Without Apple Intelligence, Cueboard needs the internet to write. Check your connection and that Allow Full Access is on, then tap Try again.
The keyboard asks me to allow AI processing
Before anything goes to the cloud, Cueboard shows who processes your text and asks for your permission. Open the Cueboard app and tap “Agree and continue”. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy.
It wrote a prompt, but I wanted the email
In Mail, Cueboard writes the email itself when it sees your signature (“Sent from my iPhone”) below the cursor. Anywhere else, tap the “ready to send” chip to turn a request into the finished message, or “a prompt” to switch back.
Subscriptions
- Restore Pro on a new iPhone: Cueboard → Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
- Cancel: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cueboard. Pro stays on until the period you paid for ends.
- Refunds: Apple handles them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
Cueboard has no account and keeps your settings on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
